It was 8 am and hot...

in the Mojave desert. But what else can we expect in St. George, Ut, in August? But, oh, were the photos worth it.

First, you have to love a bride that prioritizes photos to the point of getting herself and the entire bridal party ready that early in the morning just to get their wedding photos done in good light. Jada and Joe wanted their first look to happen on top of the stunning petrified dunes in Snow Canyon State Park. The morning sun continued to rise as they exchanged heartfelt notes on the rolling hills of red sandstone.

Jada and Joe had such a beautiful calmness about them as we explored Snow Canyon. Waking up that early had given us plenty of time to capture their day without the usual rush of a wedding shoot. Their ceremony wasn't until later in the afternoon and it was still only 9 am.

Of course, their entire bridal party looked gorgeous. Their blush dresses complimented the blue desert brush and orange tinted rocks beautifully.

Their reception at the Brio Clubhouse featured a beautiful hand-lettered sign from The Sweet Potato Studio. Their friends and family danced late into the night and ate delicious gluten free cake *my favorite part other than the photos*.
